1975-80: B.A. In Music (Vocal Specialization) UCLA

1980-1984: Bassist for Dogtown (San Francisco & Los Angeles) Opened for Dead Kennedy’s SF Civic Center; for X, at the Whiskey LA; and, for The Bus Boys, LA Civic Center

1985-1989: Singer/songwriter in Hollywood. Lead vocalist/songwriter/bassist for “Katchase”. Bassist for “Painting Over Picasso”, Demo Singer for Wes Arkeen (Guns ‘n Roses).

1990: Bassist/Lead Vocalist for Spanking Violets (San Francisco). Opened for 4 Non Blondes, Pearl Harbour, Tripping Daisy & More. Released “Spanking Violets”  (Slot Records). Received National airplay on over 150 college stations

1991-1996: Bassist/Lead Vocalist for The Katharine Chase Band. Opened for Cake, Amanda Marshall, Third Eye Blind, Train. Released “The Truth” as an independent. Signed to Marquee Music (MCA) re-releasing, “The Truth” produced by Jeffrey Wood at Fantasy Studios, Berkeley.

1997: Solo Acoustic work. Opened for Mary Lou Lord, Elliott Smith, Hootie & The Blowfish. Featured in Indie Film w/Beck, Lucinda Williams, others. First appearance at the Michigan Women's Festival

1998-1999: Bassist/Backup Vocalist for Penelope Houston (Reprise). Extended Tour of Germany with Houston, including MTV Shows. East Coast US tour, spring of 1999 w/Houston

2001: Released Solo Acoustic CD  “Little Brown Bag”(Mentl Music). Performed with Vienna Tang, Austin Willacy, Deborah Pardes. Rhythm guitarist for Jennifer McKitrick, recorded her major label release “Glow” under producer Sandy Pearlman (Blue Oyster Cult).

2000-2002: Bassist/Lead Vocalist for Kindness. Two CDs released “Kindness” & “Welcome to Planet Excellent” (Slot Records). Performed at Michigan Women’s Festival, SF Pride, Monterey Women’s Festival, Diana Shore, Palm Springs

2001-2007: Created Classic Country Cowgirl “Kitty Rose”. Release “Greatest Hits!” CD in 2005. Toured the US, including appearances at the Blue Bird Cafe, Tootsies, Nashville, and MPMF Ohio, NXNE, Toronto, Canada, Michigan Women’s Festival. Released “Kitty Rose Live at The Ryman” (2007)

2008-2009: Nominated for the ECMA (European Country Music Awards) for most played album ("Greatest Hits!"), induction into the Traditional Music Hall of Fame, appeared with Grammy Award winner Laurie Lewis (Bluegrass), Cris Williamson, and opened for Kris Kristofferson, along with Gene Parsons. Began performing on bass with the Battlin' Bluebirds.
